China won't listen to Trump now but they will the EU if they threaten sanctions or something especially at this crazy economic time.
Either way Ukraine has to go for broke now and really take the fight to Russia within Russia and make things interesting.

The Kursk operation was wildly optimistic shyt was supposed to be a massive raid and get out and they stayed until they were pushed out.
The EU needs China unless they completely kowtow to donnie over trade.
That’s why China is playing hard ball because the world will have to deal with China unless donnie backtraxcks and goes zero to zero on tarriffs.
China is ultimately fukked without the West, as their entire trade structure is tied to the Western market.
They have little to no leverage.
Not only that, China has few friends in Asia to offset any freeze in their trade with the West.
Their only true allies are Russia, North Korea and Iran.
Hence why they were initially very reluctant to support Russia in its war with Ukraine as they knew their economy was rickety without the Western market. Even now they'll deny they're involved.
Having a billion plus people in those cities out of work would create social unrest.
And with low morale and enthusiasm for the war amongst Russian's, with many men fleeing to avoid Gerasimov's meat grinder it now means Putin needs manpower help from China and North Korea to beat lowly Ukraine. They're not the force the world thought they were all along and an all out war with the rest of Europe would be over quickly.

Trump extends Biden's sanctions executive order against Russia
U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order extending for one year the sanctions against Russia originally imposed by former President Joe Biden in April 2021 over Russia’s harmful foreign activities, according to an April 10 document from the U.S. Federal Register.
"Specified harmful foreign activities of the Government of the Russian Federation continue to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States. For this reason, the national emergency must continue in effect beyond 15 April 2025," the document says.
The extension cites continued Russian actions such as interference in democratic institutions, cyberattacks, repression of dissidents and journalists, and violations of international law, including threats to territorial integrity.
In recent days, the U.S. president has renewed his push for a ceasefire. Axios reported on April 11, citing an undisclosed source, that Trump could impose additional sanctions on Russia if a ceasefire with Ukraine is not reached by the end of April.
