The military is a great come up if you're poor and can't go the college route. You can get a free technical education and maybe spend 5-10 years in and come out getting paid on the civilian market.

I'm too old to get drafted but I'm dead set against it. Only if the US is being physically invaded should there be a draft. And the children of politicians have to be eligible (infantry none of that OCS cop out shyt).
