I’m confused. I thought you were only allowed to play 4 years max, that’s why some players redshirt a year. Are the rules different for women’s basketball?:dwillhuh:

Covid. They gave all athletes like an extra year or some shyt. some maybe even more. I won’t lie and act like I’m mad, I got a younger cousin benefiting from it. He just transferred to Michigan as a 6th year player and if he plays well looking at getting drafted next year :manny:

No. The NCAA gave everyone a free COVID year where they didn't lose eligibility. Add to that the new transfer rules, where if you transfer for your first time, you don't lose a year of eligibility. That's six years right there if someone is exhausting their options or just wants a free masters degree.
