Not the direction I expected this thread to take. There are tons of rich people who have scholarships to college, should they all give them up? I don't know her financial situation.

Stanford thought that she was good enough to have on the team, why does anyone have a problem with this? It's college athletics, her value to the team may not show up in the box score. There are plenty of players on teams, that rarely play at all.

She’s more than good enough to have on the roster. Homegirl was Pac 12 defensive player on the year last season. She was the one defending Arizona’s guard on the final miss of the national championship game. She runs the point, doesn’t turn the ball over, and is a dog on defense. They rotate between her and a younger more offensively inclined PG. She’s an integral part of the team.
