Pat's contract was 141 million guaranteed over that long ass amount of time. That's peanuts now. Get Lamar to 190/200 at least.

Guarantee you Herbert and Burrow won't be jacked around when it's time for their extension :mjpls:
naw I don’t see them doing it either

Bengals have always been known as a poverty franchise

I doubt Mike Brown is gonna cough up 250 mill at once to sit in escrow

Chargers owner not balling like that either

What teams continually make deep playoff runs and win Super Bowls without a top tier QB?
The money they get is the problem. No player objectively deserves that kind of money -- though based solely on "pay what the market demands," Russ would -- but the QB that's been to the most Super Bowls has CONSISTENTLY taken less than market value to allow teams the flexibility to build around him (Brady). That's why so many teams are trying to go all in before a QB's rookie contract runs out.

To answer the question, San Francisco is always a good team when the injury bug isn't running through them. Tennessee as of late is another one. The Rams were a consistent playoff presence with Jared Goff. The Ravens have been a perennial playoff contender since John Harbaugh took over. You don't need an elite QB to get shyt done so long as you've done the work in building a well-rounded team.
