Russ is an enigma

That 3rd quarter was so horrific.... yet he won every 50/50 hustle play in the 4th... bone-headed turnovers in the 4th... but clutch free throws and the defensive play of the game at the end

He’s not really an enigma. He plays bull in a China shop basketball which due to his athleticism and hustle can net favorable results at times but due to his poor decision making and inefficiency can also cost you. It’s a high wire act at all times with him.

Monty Williams coaches like Kevin Durant isn’t on his team. He has awful rotations and put in Ish Wainwright before TJ Warren.

They just made a lot of the mistakes and pitfalls they could hope to avoid and still won. No way in hell does Russ shoot that bad next game.

- Both Russ and CP3 both showing how to play through a shooting slump.
- KD is fukking amazing, he's going to have to take over if they're going to win this series.
- Booker's defense surprised me. I know him as a scorer but now that he has KD he might need to lean into that 'Pippen' role. He's a big reason why Russ didn't get going offensively.
