ATL - Cleveland Ave.
Who else was on that Wizards team? Rockets too where they had Harden, Russ and then hardly any depth beyond that.. The big problem with Westbrook is he's been overpaid for too long so hasn't been on a team with actual depth in large part due to his contract. I could see him working being the main playmaking guy with a superstar and a star next to him with decent team depth. I actually liked how he played with the Clips even before the playoffs where he wasn't trying to do too much and helped set up Kawhi and PG for easy shots as well as getting good looks for the other teammates.

Russ and Lebron didn't mix because it was hard to play them together because both need the ball in their hands and are pretty bad off ball combined with Lebron resting more on D and Russ gambling way too much.
Ironically, the Lakers won their minutes with Russ and Bron on the floor.

The Rockets went from contenders with Paul to also-rans with Westbrook. They blew up their team to accommodate his play-style too and it didn't matter.

Most people thought OKC was tanking when they swapped Paul and Westbrook and wound up in the postseason anyway. Damn near beat the Rockets themselves in the Bubble (Westbrook was trash in the three games he played).

Those OKC teams with Paul George had enough to win at least one round and they never did. Is anyone surprised? Westbrook never shot 40% in the playoffs and Lillard took embarrassed him.

Washington didn't have a lot of talent but this guy shot 33%/25% in the playoffs. That's like Trae Young and we clown him all the time on here but that's not Westbrook's fault?

Like I said in another thread when it comes to Westbum his stans always blame someone else for his shortcomings

He’s played with Bron, AD, KD, Harden, Mello, PG, but literally it’s not him it’s them :francis:

Harden? In the playoffs? :mjlol: :russ:
PG? When he isn't on the injured list? :mjlol:
Same with AD? :mjlol:

Bron/KD/Melo I'll give you.

Westbrick has some flaws to his game, that's for sure. But he wasn't the problem today.

Breh he’s a loser:yeshrug:

How do you average a trip dub in the regular season but have less than 15 for your career in the playoffs

Edit: and like clockwork the excuses just roll out for this bum

I just don't understand KD and Book so many minutes. Both can carry offenses for stretches at a time. There should be plenty of opportunities to buy rest for both of them earlier in the game.

BOOKER IS GOING OFF
BECAUSE KD IS DRAWING A DBL
SO MONTY WANTS THEM
ON THE COURT TOGETHER.

PUT BOOK OUT THERE
BY HIMSELF AND HES GONNA
GET DOUBLED AND THIS
MID ROSTER WONT BE ABLE
TO MAKE THEM PAY.

Not enough time to really get chemistry with the bench unit and their backup PG who could at least provide some rim pressure is out.
