Nawl Bron is passive aggressive to the core and Klutch has all types of talking heads in media. Lebron has used Westbrook as a scapegoat for 2 years while he been stat hunting.

No, ngga, he is that bad. Russ could be a saint on and off court. He could not have 1 turnover, he can agree to come off the bench, he can even stop being surly and uncoachable…he still shoots 28% from 3. In 30+ mandatory minutes per game

THAT is the problem. People letting all the other stuff distract from the core issue. Even if Russ overnight became a good teammate he still making you play 4 on 5 30 minutes a game. Any other player shooting that % is playing less minutes (Ie Thybuille), or is a big (Draymond), or provides some ELITE contributuon that makes it worth it (Andre Roberson defense).

Russ provides none of that AND in order to get accomodating Russ they were forced to play 3 guard lineups with 6’4 Russ at SF. He was KILLING them and again that doesn’t even factor the awkwardness he was likely causing in the lockeroom

Honestly his 3pt % isn't even the biggest problem for Russ.. I don't think Bron and AD expected him to be a knock down shooter and make all these midrange shots

He's been ATROCIOUS finishing at the rim, he's been ATROCIOUS shooting FT, he's been ATROCIOUS playing defense constantly getting backdoored, he's been ATROCIOUS at having turnovers at the worst opportune time if you're watching the game

If Russ was able to finish layups and at the rim at league average, make 80% FT again, have 1-2 less turnovers per game, actually give AF on defense and not just during a possession or 2, then all this wouldn't be an issue.. the Lakers are probably a playoff team and he's still on the roster

This is true. But Bronny isn't all that, Bryce may be, time will tell. The NBA are gonna prop someone else up, and they may approach the game differently which may help them to overcome this media machine.

I mean Shannon and Kobe used to DM each other a good amount and he didn't share that information until after his death.

Ive always assumed that after Skip and Shannon had that big blowup over Skips comments towards Hamlin and then his comments about Shannon's career vs Brady is when LeBron started to embrace him more publicly. I think there's a lot of things behind the scenes to get Shannon more into the light to go out and do his own thing post Skip.
