Us on the Coli have LITERALLY been calling this man Sabo short for SABOTAGE since BEFORE Durant upped and fled OKC!

Everybody and they mama knows Westbrook’s flaws. He can’t shoot worth a damn. He’s selfish. He makes pin-headed decisions at the WORSE possible moments SEVERAL TIMES during a game. And lately he’s added “uncoachable” to that list

He had a decent “redemption” season in Washington and Bron probably thought that because he was older he might have grown “wiser” and would be more willing to fit into “Bron” ball and make a real run for a championship. The issue is that it don’t matter how much older or seasoned Russell is, he’s still always gonna be SABO. Bron and the Lakers simply learned that the hard way.

On one hand you give credit to Westbrook for taking the bench role and even somewhat “thriving” but then on the other hand him being benched wouldn’t even have been necessarily if he had not been bullheaded and you know, developed a goddamn RELIABLE jumper and not tried to play like he and Bron are equals. They’re not, never have been and never will BE

He's been stalking LeBron since Bron's freshman year in high school, he's literally ALWAYS been around, so he talks about Bron like he knows him. But Bron was never granting him exclusives, never inviting him over to the property, and at some point stopped talking to him entirely.

Windhorst said himself that he doesn't talk with Bron anymore. He made all sorts of excuses about there's too much media in LA, pandemic made in-person shyt hard, Bron doesn't talk to any reporters, LA isn't very relevant right now, blah blah blah....but other people have noticed that Bron cut him off way before that.

This is Windhorst's side of the story:

“I haven’t really communicated with him much at all in the last few years,” Windhorst said. “First of all, the pandemic happened so we weren’t doing in-person interviews. In years past I’ve messaged with him, but we’ve both kind of moved on. LeBron doesn’t have personal relationships like that with reporters. He hasn’t in a long time.”

“In LA, there’s so much media there. I would talk to him in the locker room (before). I didn’t go over to his house to have wine and cigar. I talked to him in the locker room and the hallways for two decades. So that’s sort of cut off, and just, frankly, the Lakers haven’t been that relevant of a team.”

But this is what everyone else has seen:

Windhorst shyts on Bron all the time - he calls him a stat-padder, he mocked him claiming he was recruiting Steph to the Lakers, he claimed that Bron almost destroyed his relationship with Wade over ditching him for Cleveland, he claimed that he doesn't pay much attention to Bron cause the Lakers are irrelevant now....but we're supposed to believe that Windhorst is on Klutch's payroll and getting all the secret inside scoops about the working of LeBron's mind?

:bryan:

Windy is more obsessed/in love with Bron more than he will ever hate him. You ever listen to his Podcast? Dude will interrupt a topic and go deep dive straight into a LeBron moment and will routinely have to stop himself on some “anyways im going a little off tangent” shyt

Windy is a good reporter. And just as plugged in as Woj. But he understands his place on the totem pole.

I believe Brian when he says he has moved on. Dave McMenamin is clearly Brons inside man now.

I'll give Windy some credit, he hung onto Bron's nuts then jumped off when he saw a nice landing spot. Now he'll continue to have a career after Bron goes

Yea not like he hasn't had to sit back and be the whipping boy while the Lakers where losing taking sole responsibility for those losses as if lebron didn't have just as much blame for it based on him playing for himself and not the team chasing Kareem. Guess Westbrook was supposed to act like he didn't have to wake up every morning to reports of the Lakers trying to trade him since last season. But yea THIS was the last straw smh gtfoh

If you're a star player why would you ever want to get into business with Lebron and Klutch? Because this is how it always ends. Hit pieces in the media, all the blame, none of the credit.

Russ was trash but this is part of a bigger problem with Bron that we've seen for years. Any legit player ain't gonna wanna have any part of this bullshyt. This is why Kawhi told Bron to :camby:

What purposes does this even serve? The man is off the team after being shopped for a year and a half. fukk is there to be gained from shytting on him on the way out. :mjtf:

Low class shyt.

Unnecessary. Dude is traded, they need to let it go and leave him alone now. He’s in a small market, no need to shyt on him

It's weird how nikkas just say things that are factually incorrect and are just so confident in it

This was after all the Kyrie trade noise too, so everybody get to bash on Russ and cry about trades that would have included him. But he has to be the only one that remains professional :dead:

None of them ever explained what he was failing to do. He's scoring at a high rate and efficiently, setting up other players well, and is one of the highest-rated defenders on the team despite being 38 years old and at a point where literally every other superstar of his caliber had given up defensive roles completely. The team is WAY better with him on the court than with him off of it, especially after the first 10 games of the season which were clearly subpar (and he got better after a two-week break to heal up that he desperately needed). He's not prime Bron, but he's as good as he could possibly be considering his age and injury status, and playing better than anyone else this age ever has. So what did they want him to do? Defer to Westbrook more? Defer to Schroeder more? I'm really at a loss here.

They claim he was chasing Kareem AND they attack him for sitting games, which makes zero sense.
