One series is worldwide fame

The other is at best remembered for its Bye Felicia quote from people outside the black community

Thats not true Friday is a cult classic around the world

I think if he would have continued on his Movie career path he would have reached Eddie Murphy status ....:mjlol:.....he was never that great a stand up comedian imo...but his comedic timing is priceless.....

Is Jackie trying to end up in a wheelchair? He's getting too old for all those stunts.

:mindblown:

And Chris' character is too old to be acting like that. It was funny when he was young.
This is actually the reason I'm surprised so many people want him to return as Smokey in another Friday movie

As long as those shytty mission impossible movies are produced it's room for another rush hour.

Anyone questioning why he’d do four rush hour movies but not another Friday clearly ain’t thinking about the math. Not saying I agree with it but I know it would be hard for me to turn down all that money and be able to travel around the world to promote it in lieu of doing another Friday. New line backs up a brinks truck for these rush hour flicks. Chris hasn’t had to work consistently in years simply based on his checks from rush hour 2 and 3. He can still do his stand up, do little comedy shows here and there, pop up in a movie here and there for a small role, and be straight :russ:

Chris doesn’t give a damn whether we think he should do another Friday. His bank account tells a much different story. I ain’t mad at him, despite me not wanting another rush hour movie.
Unless you gonna get the old Chris back and not the dry Christian one it won't be good lol.

I think it has a lot more to do with Bret ratner than Chris for real. Also Chris’ act is just tired at this point. The rush hour movies unlike the lethal weapon movies weren’t built on character or an emotional foundation. It was built on Chris and Jackie and the absurdity of seeing this loud mouth American team with this quiet patient Asian. Along with stereotypical jokes that have aged like gouda
