Back in 2014, Randy was pretty vocal about the fact that during a European tour only Cena's merch was available in kid sizes. Granted, part of that for Randy is because he was heel at the time, but even other babyfaces didn't have anything to sell for kids.

Also, I can't find the links atm, but others have talked about how certain talent has an abundance of merch for sale at shows while others might get a few shirts at best (and not even available in all sizes).

Have it be him vs Jinder in the finals so Jinder can cut that heel promo about how he switched from a lackey to a Maharajah when he left Rusev, and Rusev declaring he'll never let Jinder win it. Aiden takes care of the Singh brothers during the match and Rusev redeems himself by recapturing the US title he once dominantly held, only now to serve as its protector. It's a storyline so obvious and perfect that I can only imagine how hard Vince will work to never make it happen.
