Because Vince doesn't like managers/valets, much like his dislike of tag team wrestling. His view is, if the wrestler or partner gets injured for a period of time, then you have someone doing nothing. Reason why he'll rather have teams like Sheamaro, Ambrollins win the titles, because they can easily transition back to being singles if anything was to happen to one of them.
