On a side note, had a bird tell me how much she loved LL's music. Played Boomin System for her goofy a$$ and she gonna ask me "who dis?" And then swore up and down that it wasn't him.

She might've gotten into LL in the mid 90s, when he had a resurgence. He was still going multi-plat and winning Grammies 5+ years after "Boomin' System" came out.

I always thought it was interesting that it sampled another song on the same album

im trying to figure out whos joint was out first, LL or en vogue?
