He almost won the damn superbowl.. i think hes handling the duties fine.

One thing the Chiefs were doing for much of the game that other teams hadnt, was limit the 1st down gains on running plays.

Almost. It's very hard to be both the HC/OC. I can't really name a coach that had won the SB with both titles. Maybe some have but I'm sure there are not many

The very fact that they were in the super bowl shows that he can do it. They need to execute.. bottom line. If he would have ran it and they got stopped.. people would be bytching that he got too conservative.

Yeah that's true. I'm not sure Sanders leaves though. He's 32 and I think his huge pay day is over. He may do an team friendly deal.

Taylor and Jimmy had a pretty good connection 2 years ago (was his main go to 3rd down guy before Kittles) and I keep hearing Hurd is a beast, if he can consistently play like his did his last preseason game then he gonna be a problem for opponents

Now, the veteran leadership he brings you can't really put a price tag on. How to work and be a professional. His skills, however, will start to diminish at some point and you want to get the receivers you drafted experience and playing time.

I don't think Sanders takes a discount;. Why would he? He's won 2 Superbowls already. Yeah, he could possibly won another with us, but money talks and if somebody is willing to overpay he'll probably jump ship and get to the money.

I will say this atleast about that.

I think his skills will diminish about as long as our window for winning or seriously competing for a SB is.


Like the way the league is, no one really has a 7-10 year window of winning getting to the SB like that, it’s 2-4 and that’s it.

Now I know some may bring up NE but they kinda an anomaly, they benefitted from sketchy cheating shyt and inferior competition in a weak division/conference.

So yea, if the investment in Sanders is 2-3 more years, I’d buy that, 32 aint washed.

But we ain’t got an 8 year window. Gotta get shyt done in the next 2 year before “the reset.” Look at every team in the NFC the last 15 years
