I agree. The level of effort from the front office does not match what Butler has given the team. That’s the most frustrating part. Just stop putting all your eggs in one basket for once and help the man before it’s too late. That’s all I want.

Just finding out we lost Gabe lol
And we're losing Strus.

I could have dealt with strus leaving. Duncan Robinson has expanded his game and is a better shooter, so we ain't losing a lot.
But I watched Gabe turn into a whole pg. Like super solid pg.
The Lakers are going to be a problem with him. sheeeeesh. I'll be following his career
Now what are we going to do at that position. The heat developed him. We should have just gave him the bag.

We're bring back Kevin love but we only played Kevin love for like 2quarters in the playoffs. Is he going to be our new UD :snoop:

Yea I think he’s our new UD. He gave us what he could but there’s not much left in that tank. I hope we’re not midseason yelling to get this guy off the team but that’s probably what’s gonna happen
:mjlol:

I’m upset at the Gabe one. Remember his first year he was AWFUL. I did not want him to return. Then he turned it around and became one of my favorite Heat players. Namdi. Toughness. Perfect representative of Heat culture. That one hurts and I don’t know how easy and realistic it is to expect just any random undrafted guy to replicate what took a few years for Gabe to learn.

For what I've seen its been the "others" carrying the team in these playoff runs. And this year it was bam and hero carrying the team in the reg season.
Jimmy would have sporadic amazing games.
And the narrative was he's carrying the team, but that was never the case.
He would disappear way too much. In consecutive games... over passing or not looking to get the ball at all.
These finals was really embarrassing to watch as a jimmy fan

Bro... I'm legit hurt lol.
I don't even care about Sports that much... But watching him grow at the position was really cool.
Last year he frustrated the shyt outta me too.
Didn't know he we get so much better in 1 season.
Did you see how hard he was guarding brunson, full court against the Knicks.
It's unrealistic to think were going to strike gold like that again.

I would like to see a hear version of "point jimmy" that we've a few times with the heat, alot with the sixers and bulls.
This would help keep the line up big, which we finally need to deal with

Eh before he injured his ankle that man single handedly carried the team to the ECF. I remember Bam being VERY sporadic and played so soft during many of these games. But he was pretty much the only one to really show up in the finals. Caleb Martin was big in the ECF and vanished in the finals. Vincent was up and down. Max Strus with the 2/15,1/8, 2/12 and the 6/8 performances.. Kyle Lowry… Duncan Robinson was alright. But throughout all that all those guys were playing lights out on defense.

I think where the front office has failed is to give him a reliable scorer and to increase the size of the team. This has been pretty much the same exact complaint for the entire 4 years going on 5 now. Scorer and size. Jimmy doesn’t even seem to want to score. Yet at his age he’s expected to go God mode for 16 post season games. Eventually he’s gonna break down via injury or run out of gas no matter how many regular season games he takes off. How many times do we need to see this man play the entire 48 minutes of a game because if he sits no one is scoring. And then size… Dwight Howard and AD were beating the crap out of us in 2020. Then Brook Lopez and Giannis took their turn in 21. And apparently at 35 Brook is still a problem for us. Aaron Gordon is a problem for us. Next year Porzingis is a new problem for us lol.

Bubble boy is gonna do his typical drop 20 and give up 30 in the regular season and injure himself in the playoffs but somehow survive being traded for Donovan Mitchell James Harden Bradley Beal etc.

I mean.... Excellent analysis :hubie:

I think we've been very fortunate...but this next year we are going to struggle.

Before the play-in started, I knew we would lose to the hawks... Because of rebounding and was hoping the bulls beat the raptors. Because we would have lost to the raptors.

That set the stage for our playoff run.

I've been bandwagoning since jimmy got there, so I've been dusting off my Knicks hat.

I know I ain't shyt

sounding like some hoes in here
Definitely sounding like some hoes. Some stuff could’ve gone better but Jimmy has made 3 ECF’s and 2 finals appearances with the Heat. None ended in rings which is unfortunate but it’s been a good partnership between the Heat and jimmy.

Jimmy needed stability because he was going from team to team until he finally found the right fit in Miami
