Was cutting threw a back street in the village nyc. Passed a bench with two older black men sitting and chatting. They stood out because this is a heavy money block with mostly rich cacs. They were having a very flamboyant convo so I was sure they were g@y. From the corner of my eye their motions and the way their leg were crosses further confirmed their tendencies. I got five steps passed them and something in their voices was so familiar. I spun around and saw MIKE TYSON & SPIKE LEE having the most feminine conversation. Before I could think I blurted out "CHAMP". Mike stood up and gave me a BK dap. We made small talk and I took a pic with them both real quick. They were seated outside a tiny theater i figured Mike was working on the stage play he came out with a short time ago. The funny thing is SPIKE was acting like a real jealous bytch the whole time. Mike was real down to earth having a small convo with me and taking pics with a few passersby. He basically rushed everyone away and was very weird for a bedstuy dude. I would never forget the men on films demeanor they had before I spoke up. Smh Hollywood has zero Ls

From reading bits & pieces of LA Reid`s book & an interview from usher, Tevin Campbell`s 2nd album called I'm ready was originally supposed to be usher's debut album.

When they fell out babyface took the album that was supposed to be for usher & took it to tevin Campbell to record.

LA Reid really felt like usher had "IT" while he thought tevin had a great voice, but didn't have that star quality.

Babyface was never really sold Usher & favored Tevin more than him.

I think this explains why there was tension between both of them during that time period.
