Just retire already, he's already tarnished his legacy losing the Mania streak. He hasn't been the same since. :snoop:

That said, times have changed and if someone fans don’t like gets a prominent role, fans will try their best to make sure the show fails rather than watch so their hero loses. WWE doesn’t build heroes anyway. WWE itself is suppose to be the hero
This is the real problem. Love him or hate him, Corbin is playing his position and doing it well. Call it X-Pac heat or whatever - I'd argue he only has X-Pac heat with the hardcore fans; I think casual fans are mostly playing along or not so invested they want him to go away forever - he gets the appropriate reaction and people are invested in him.

The issue is WWE is terrrrrrrrrrible at building babyfaces you want to see succeed. Whenever they get one, it's usually on accident (see: Kofi, Becky) and then they don't know what to do with them. Then either job them out so they look like losers and the crowd stops being interested, or they have them win what should be the blow off and instead continue the feud till it loses steam. The latter is the case with Corbin and Seth now.

If they wanted to continue the feud into Extreme Rules, then Lacey and Corbin should have succeeded in screwing Seth out of the belt. It adds more intrigue to the tag match since both sides have something to lose, it gets more heat on Corbin and Lacey, and now the crowd is more sympathetic to Seth cause he lost something. This is, like, basic hero storytelling and WWE just does not do it.

The ones still watching at home. The few kids they still have, basically. lol
Once again it’s not kids watching at home, this narrative has to stop. They need to cater to adults , adults stay up to 11:00 pm to watch the show. This is a problem with IWC as a whole concerning WWE. AEW isnt producing a show for kids because it would be retarded same with NJPW. Why do people think kids are watching this shyt at home but adults are watching the others? If Vince is really marketing this show to stupid kids then it’s a lost cause because adults pay the show tickets and buy the merchandise. Cena is gone and he was the only performer who got a reaction out kids and adults.
