The problem is they tried to make RAW and SD the same show, and so they split divisions in half and now none have any depth. The wrong brand split.
If they took a chance, they could have two different shows each with their own appeal.
One of the appealing things about having a network was that they'd now be able to support a brand split instead of pushing two 50 dollar ppvs a month.
I don't know about that if you look at both roster pages, RAW has about 20+ more people listed. They also have 205 Live and Main Event content as well. All the SD brand has is Smackdown, which has led to people going missing for weeks.
Original brand split took them around 5 years to stop the branded ppv's (Granted they were full priced ppv's every monthHistory repeats itself. They eventually couldn’t sustain the brand split the first go round. I’m not surprised that they couldn’t sustain it this time, in even shorter fashion.
Original brand split took them around 5 years to stop the branded ppv's (Granted they were full priced ppv's every month) and another 5 to quielty end it, literally barley 2 years into this one and they stop single branded events all ready
....and they never treated this like an actual brand spilt anyhow, fully expect this brand spilt to end by 2020

that's a mythIt's their fault for not creating new stars.
Brock barely appears on RAW to promote any matches, when he does wrestle all he does is German suplex 12 times, F5 pin. Meanwhile there are a dozen guys on the cusp of stardom who they continually sabotage with shytty booking.
