There's no way a PS5 Pro is coming this soon when the demand is outpacing supply for the current model. It makes zero business sense to cannibalize your own sales potential with a new model so soon.

And a PS5 Pro in 2024 is too soon IMO. 2025 seems like a better choice.

Only way a new handheld would work is using the PS Now Vault but majority of gamers from those old Playstation Games are too old to buy it.

Even Nintendo is done with that so they basically have to focus more on psnow streaming. Most phones should have the kind of power to stream these games, and they can compress the quality more since its on a smaller screen.

PS5 slim would make perfect sense. Pro na. We haven’t even got consistent next-gen exclusives yet. Most things are still cross-gen which hasn’t really been a big issue yet. Well minus the cyberpunk disaster.

I'm saying they're done in the sense that they've fused both handheld and console completely. That's one of the big reasons it's doing so well. They no longer have one console and one handheld with exclusives on the handheld.

Nobody wants to release a stand alone portable now. What Sony could do is try to create an add on to the ps5 that basically makes the whole thing portable.

Maybe they can drop a handheld with the power of the PS4/PS4 Pro that can play PS4 games and maybe even scaled back PS5 joints.

Call it Playstation 4 Mobile or something
