Rumor: Next Sonic game will be Sonic Adventure 3

Sega announced back in January that there would be a new Sonic game announced in February "for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita and 'next generation consoles.'" The publisher also stated that the game would "stick to the Sonic formula."

It seems a Dutch writer has claimed he has uncovered what the game would be - Sonic Adventure 3, which would fit in with Sega registering six Sonic Adventure domains in the past few months.

Other evidence has popped up for a Sonic title in general. For instance, Happy Tree Friends writer Ken Pontac has added credit for a new Sonic game to his resume, joining Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations. Rap singer Hunnid-P, who worked on Sonic Adventure 2, has announced on YouTube he's working on new tunes for a Sonic game.

If it really is a new Sonic Adventure game, I'm hoping only the OGs Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are playable at the start, and maybe Shadow is unlockable. Not really interested in playing as anybody else.

I don't really care if there's a hub between levels like in SA1, but if they do have one there should be more to do in it.

I want it to be JUST like Sonic Adventure 1 with the hub. Sonic Unleashed was a step forward. No Big the Cat, Amy or E-40 the robot please.
Sonic Adventure 2 was hot but I didn't like how they removed the overworld hub and made everything linear.

That was on the contrary, my favorite part. It was innovative for a sonic game. For years all you did was hold forward and the game played itself. Now you get to control a much slower pace sonic with beautiful scenery to bask in as you do and that "ruins" it?? :childplease:
