you’d like to think so. but sometimes more time needed can be indicative of directional problems or development hurdles that they can’t surpass at all
.
That's true too, and there's no real way to know unless we never hear anything from this game for a good while. If E3 2022 comes and goes without an update on this game, then that's not a good sign at all. Cyberpunk catching a break from the gaming community spooked a lot of people into making sure their games are well-seasoned before they drop. Truth be told, we shouldn't need CDPR to get cooked in order for companies to drop fully produced games, but if that's what it takes...
At least in this regard, the HP game seems to just need a bit more time with the polishing and whatnot, so at least at this point in time, there's no real cause for alarm. I think if there were, you'd probably hear something here and there about it gradually leaking out. Horizon 2 was delayed, and the game looks amazing and that much more promising because of it, so sometimes you really do gotta let things cook for another few minutes.
But yeah, again, if another six months pass and we don't hear any updates on the game at all like a gameplay trailer or something, that's probably a good indicator that something must've happened.
