They have to hold onto Rose until they can get a backup that can start, if they had somebody on the bench that could be a true starter then yeah dump him, but right now they dont and nobody is giving them a quality PG in return for Rose. At best they could probably get Joe Johnson and Shane Larkin or some shyt.

Because Lopez has had some serious foot problems, his value is all over the place according to GMs that Lowe spoke to.

Trading lee and one of our crappier picks for Lopez is something I'd consider although it doesn't exactly solve our log jam problem and there still needs to be another trade or two... (I'd be open to moving anybody aside from Isaiah crowder and smart)

I'd basically monitor lopez's minutes from day one and rest him when possible to have him ready for playoffs and we have the depth to do it
