Does naming work differently in Japan? is it Maternal? Just wondering how Him and Naomi both have Japanese last names even though they both have black fathers.

I don't think he's an A plus rebounder. But I'd move him to the three. You are right he needs to work on his handle but he'll get there. There's some footwork stuff he does on the mid range that's very Beal esque. He also needs to improve his shooting but strength wise I see he already has kawhi power and side by side he looked bigger.

I'm not saying he's going to be kawhi but he has all the tools. Chauncey not looking so dumb anymore

I think he could easily average over 10 boards if his coaches harped on it, but that's all about hustle and scheme. I see him playing the 4 through most of his career so I think it's unavoidable that he will need to focus on rebounding at some point. :yeshrug:

And yeah his offensive game is disjointed, he's advanced in certain areas and then rough in others, but I think a solid handle will pull it together and then it'll click. Dude could be a gem, honestly, with the right training and coaching.

He was learning English his rookie season of college :mjlol: that's the only reason why he took long. He couldn't be communicated to what's going on.

Makes sense. Gonzaga made him look like a completely different player.

He's way better than I thought he would be. He looked terrible in college IMO.

If he develops his handle I don't see why he wouldn't be able to put up 25+ PPG and 10+ RPG in a few years, he's got that kind of skillset.
Just goes to show how trash college ball is honestly. I think for most players they look better in the league than they did in college. Better rule set, more open floor, better referees etc

I always thought he was a sleeper pick. People kind of picked on his physical traits but he's a flat out baller. He def has the upside to be star.

I don't even think you even watched him in college to say that at all.
