The Minnesota Timberwolves turned down a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies for Rudy Gay, according to a report. Speculation suggests the Grizzlies offered a deal that would have sent Gay to the Timberwolves in return for Kevin Love and/or Nikola Pekovic. The Timberwolves expressed interest in signing Gay to a free agent deal in 2010.

yeah ur right... but for this year deng making 13.5 & rip making 5 thats 18.5mill >>> gay 16.5mill
although its better in the long run for MEM
dem being over the luxury tax already then adding 2mill more for only this year -i still highly doubt they would entertain that trade
