Charles Rogers in jail, headed to treatment*facility

Charles Rogers, the former Lions receiver who was one of the biggest busts in the history of the NFL draft, is in trouble with the law again.
Rogers, who had a bench warrant issued for his arrest last week after he failed to show up to a court hearing, is now in jail and will be sent to a treatment facility, ABC 12 in Saginaw, Michigan, reports.
Rogers failed a drug test before a previous court hearing, and he has a long history of failing drug tests, going all the way back to the 2003 Scouting Combine, when he submitted a diluted urine sample. Ex-Lions President Matt Millen looked past that red flag and took Rogers with the second overall pick in the draft, but more failed drug tests led to a suspension during Rogers career with the Lions, and Rogers never amounted to anything in the NFL.
The charges Rogers currently faces include making a malicious phone call (a death threat to his own mother) and conspiring with his uncle to commit that crime, plus possessing marijuana, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked license.
