Their resumes are literally not even in the same fukking ball park at 160. Jones was at his best at 175. 160 Jones was a phenom but that was not prime Roy. Hagler is far and beyond anyone Roy beat and would not be an easy fight at all. You guys are fooling yourselves

Lmao, you sound like a damn fool

The best wins on hagler's resume are against smaller guys who moved up and fought him lmao

he beat fukking duran who started at 135 and fukking hearns who started at welterweight

Roy beat Hopkins at 160 with one hand, that's more impressive than anything Hagler has ever done in his life

Roy Jones would knock Hagler the fukk out at 160

You said 175 was Roy's best lmao, if Roy had was destroying guys at 175 who do you think he would do to Hagler with his power

Hagler never moved up in weight all though the guys he ducked did lmao, Hagler was the original GGG, a middleweight calling out smaller fighters to build his resume, when never challenging himself moving up lmao

Hagler has no chance against jones at any weight

RJ at 160 is the GOAT fighter

and hagler wouldnt stand a chance, nobody would...Too quick too much power,he would counter punch Marvin to death in a fight...Id even say Roy would KO him off a counter, hagler was known for throwing some wild ass lunging punches,Roy would feast off of that...

IMO no one's KO'ing Hagler. RJ is the best fighter I've ever seen personally but this wouldn't be easy. I think he wins based on styles & footwork.

Me too :blessed:

And although I pick RJJ to win, it aint no walk in the park. And it aint no KO either. See RJJ winning a clean and unanimous decision in the competitive fight

I picked Roy, but how does one beat Hagler easy?
Opinions are strong on this board for a group of dudes who I'm convinced never saw more than 4 minutes of Hagler's career. And 3 of those minutes were the opening round vs Hearns.
:skip:

In any case, Roy.
But I don't believe it'd be as easy as people think.

Hagler was a beast but RJJ wins. Too fast, big and athletic also with huge power. Might sound banal but Hagler just isn't fast enough to catch RJJ imo.

RJJ v Hearns would be a more interesting matchup imo. Hearns would have a solid reach advantage over Roy he could also match his speed more, and Roy would have to make greater efforts to outbox Hearns. He could match more RJJ's most important abilities/attributes than Hagler. In short Hearns is a worse style matchup for Roy than Hagler.
