I'm guessing these band new nikkas only watch a handful of big ppv events each year. Roy has been doing boxing after dark with Papa and Kellerman for years now and was doing HBO telecasts even between his fights during his prime years ago, this is a weird ass thread. If you watch HBO Boxing how can you not have noticed Roy doing fights?

hopefully this will keep him out the ring but he loves the competition i think he has a minor belt and hopefully that will persuade him to retire

Exactly. Roy was commentating when he was still in his prime--from the mid-to-late 90s and on through the 00s. Seems like there are a lot of new boxing fans in here.

Exactly he's been doing it since 1996 he was the blow-by-blow guy for the Boxing After Dark telecasts. He got moved up to WCB and PPV shows after Manny Steward's death
