Roy Jones had problem with words but he knows his boxing and explained sht well enough for boxin fans. He was very quick with his analysis too.
I thought he did a real good job.

Roy has ALWAYS did the damn thing on commentary 
He is a good replacement for the late great Emanuel Steward. Roy has some big shoes to fill though, I personally liked Emanuel a lot. These guys only have to do this a couple times a year so I expect Roy Jones to get even better.

Yeah he did. Cats acting like he just started commentating. He's been commentating for hbo after dark for years now, alongside the late great steward, so it's not like he's a replacement for steward.
With that said, he's always dropping knowledge, but he got a mean mumble mouth

Roy was doing fights like Whitaker vs De La Hoya in 97 and shyt Roy always been cool on the mic. He slurring some words because he should've stayed out the ring after beating up Tito Trinidad.
