I'm down for seeing him put paws on the job squad but lets not get crazy here.

Krack you my dude and you most likely right about my GOAT, but I got this vision of Roy doing what Ali did to Foreman if the Huck fights happens. As long as he lets his hands go and stays off the ropes he may have a shot. Yall Must of Forgot!

Two things Roy Jones hasn't done against a competent fighter in damn near a decade:

1. Let his hands go.
2. Stay off the ropes.

:heh:

shyt, dudes been asking for Roy to let his hands go since 2001 :heh:

Roy's movement is shot, his defense was all reflexes and his reflexes are gone. This dude is getting rolled in short order by the Danny Greens and Lebedevs of the world but you want him in there against a dude who banged with a Top 5 heavyweight?

You musta forgot what Foreman did to Ali

As for the Lebedev and Green fights he was fighting his old style with his old trainers. After those loses he linked up with new trainers like Tom Yankello and Jim Foster etc, he's a trainer himself now. So since making the trainer switch he's been steadily adapting his style and game. So he hasn't really been laying on the ropes as much since the change and he's been walking these guys down something he wasn't doing before because he was waiting to counter. Roy's been fighting since he was 3 years old he's knows the game and got tons of experience, he's definitely not just all reflexes. His reflexes definitely slow down after he dropped the weight from HW to LHW. It took him a while to do adapt to his style since he slowed down. But every fight I see he is steadily improving that adaption with his style. Yes the level of competition is not that great but I am watching the little things he does compared to what he was doing when he was getting KOed. I wish Lebedev would of gave him the rematch I think he would of had a better showing. Won't be able to really tell until he steps up in comp though so this fight with Huck will answer a lot of questions if it happens.

Another Gold Medal
Roy isn't even getting by on his skills anymore it's all ring iq(which he has always been underrated in imo) which will get him by these jobbers but I don't want to see him ko'd again and it will happen if he steps up in comp. He's already been ko'd buy one of the title holders at cruiser.

I want BHop to retire as well but if he is going to keep fighting I would prefer he took the Roy route too, I can't take seeing him catch another ass whooping :mjcry:
