Round 4: DBR vs Ran Dakroyd

Great battle...This was prolly the best battle for this round to me.

Both of ya'll dropped some damn heat rocks in this bytch. It was close, but I gave it to DBR. This dude makes every beat hard as hell no matter what.

Ran's beat was dope for real, but a few parts got a lil repetitive or just went on a lil too long. That's my only critique, but other than that the beat was ill. I loved the melody. That shyt was crazy.

DBR took it cuz his just sounded more complete to me.

Felt Ran's joint more...both picked nice samples, Ran's drums just gave him the edge in this battle. I think you picked the wrong drums for ya sample DBR, some better drums would have sent ya joint thru the roof.

After a few days of letting it all sink in I had to go with DBR. It was tough call but i really like his sample chops and sound variation. Ran's shyt was amazing (the drum change ups) , very very close battle. Great battle once again.

Ran' s had me nodding a bit more in the headphones though with the melody, i wasn't expecting that drum change so that sealed the deal for me


but if i was writing a verse and wanted to spit i would've picked dbr's
it is very well put together, chops are so clean
