The cover is nice! I felt if you arranged it differently in terms of sound choice it would sound even better The drum choice didn't seem like it fit. The melodies although they sounded great the melody sounds used didn't seem authentic as far as giving the track a natural feel it felt strictly midi stock sounding. With a different selection of sounds this works even better in my oppinion.

This is a great trap beat. This guy has some of the best hi-hat work in the tunnel. The track definitely vibes and the mix is on point theres nothing to knock here. For that reason my vote goes to @DBR

Man I wanted to see you get this win. I was really looking forward to it because your progress has been amazing. Yzr! Maybe we can colab on something, You were working off of an original Midi file right? Those instruments have to be subbed out so you can use the custom vst elements you already have. Your track in and of itself could be money (Again) when and if you decide to fix it up. You definitely have a lot of elements of the original track in their though, that can still be something major.

Yeah I remember...it was dope as hell. Me and @TEKBEATZ collab'd before too. He sent me drums and I added melodies. I still have it somewhere. I'll try to find it.

DBR was cooking with this one. That delay put on the snare


I dont see anything wrong with Rod's drums, brings/introduces new elements to the sample imo. The plan was executed well imo. With the way Rod produce that it could be sampled in its own right into a totally different beat. Now where I felt Rod took a misstep at is beat choice. Someone like me that cannot do trap all that well would take a different approach, but I know for a fact Rod in 5000 type mode could give the breh DBR a run for his money/should have just went straight up. I caught listening more on how Rod made his beat compared to it being matched up against a buzz saw like DBR's
