If you vote for yourself and that decided the victor them it shouldn't count since the other person just votes for themselves and it's a wash anyway.

At the end of the day if voting for yourself truly puts a person over then fine. The battles are good fill free to vote for yourself if you can vote for yourself by all means. Internal votes for yourself always have to be present, that's with everything in life. The goal is to transcend those votes, and make them irrelevant people can vote for themselves all day but if it doesn't put them over then it's null in void regardless. I find that these competitions are bigger than just "Battling" because at the end of the day a person can win 100 battles but if they don't build positive relationships with those around them then it's over for them. Not because they didn't win a battle but because it truly takes good networking to do anything of note. Being a great producer with no relationships is the equivalent to being a great producer and not being able to turn your passion into your career, and that's what really hurts.

So make those votes irrelevant because at the end of the day it isn't about the "Battle" sure it feels great to win, but it's temporary.

If the final result is 11-10 and the winner voted for themself yet the loser didn't that's bush league. It should automatically be negated or have the other person vote for themself to cancel it out and restore the tie.

If the person who voted for their opponent because they truly felt they had the inferior beat, ended up losing because their opponent also voted for themselves only means that the loser actually deserved to lose.

What's not to understand.

Don't vote for your opponent unless you truly feel they have the better beat. End of story.

Matter of fact, We can battle for the rule to change. You post a beat that you made and I'll post a random beat from one of the OG's in here that didn't even enter. You win, the rule can change, but I'm voting for myself so you still gotta beat the rule. If you lose, you give up the right to vote for yourself indefinitely, no matter how trash your opponent's beat can be you still gotta vote for them.

You're definitely not afraid to step outside of the box and let your creativity take you in different directions and I admire that. I always look forward to clicking on your beats because I never know what to expect.
