Dope drums by Zoneout as always...wasn't really feeling the melody. Hell both these beats are fairly similar. Well until Kush switched it up...lol. Kush your mixing is superior. That second beat is vulgar! Got to go with Kush on this one. Good work Gentlemen.

come on rod, i know you didnt fall for the "transition"

i'm calling it a TIE. both beginning beats sounded very similar. kush was building into something but never got there. instead, he chose to sneak in another beat. the problem is, that beat was so SOFT in comparison to the original, the switch up didnt even make sense. its like producers coming up always think "man, i wanna make one of those songs where the beat switches up. so its like two different songs in one." but most cant do it right for this very reason. was the 2nd beat cool?sure. but it had absolutely nothing to do with the first.

i'm going with the tie. so that means non of them get a vote. yall need to add "TIE" as an option

thnx for the listen, n feedback

I know they're two completely different beats, the second beats the real one. Ya'll got me feelin guilty.

It was more meant to be a style fake out, like on some "hey here I am with another dark 808 beat, naww jp, lemme save that and show yall something a lil different."

Like a live beat battle might operate. The complete style switch is intentional, it was never meant to be a clever transition, they are totally two unrelated beats, thats where the contrast comes from.

Also that first beat does go somewhere different, I stopped it after the first 4 bars and said "hold up lemme save that". But I have a full version with change ups, bridges and new melodies Ill up later.

I feel what you're saying but the tie option is like a cop out. I usually vote for the guy with less vote if I feel there's a tie.

i was thinking that too. maybe i should vote for the lesser guy. might as well. but in this instance it is a tie since their beats sound so similar. you wont have that in most cases.
