Tek has that dirty vibe, with them drums Ran has that ill sample. I'm going with Tek on this one but only because of the overall sound. If Ran's drums were mixed just a little better I can't imagine where this beat would be it would outta the stratosphere. That said I gotta go with Tek.

Vintage TEK beat, grimey boom bap track. I agree with producingfire on the mixing part of Ran's the beat. If Ran had chosen a diff drum kit with that dope sample, might be a different story here.

Ran I have to agree with the others the sample is dope but the drums are weak.
Damn, Tek's beat was sick, shyt gave me the vintage freestyling at the corner store vibe, had a nikka bobbing his head and shyt. Ran had a dope beat too. That sample was really good, but like everyone else said, the drums were the let down and they didn't really match the beat like that. Tek took this one.
Would love to hear Ran's beat again with some different drums though.

I liked Ran BECAUSE he did something different with his drums. +1 Ran. Never heard that kind of switch up before, I hear ethnic drums come in and that pattern is real authentic. diggin that.

Tough battle for me to judge because I was really really fukking with Ran's choice of the sample and vocal chops a lot. I think, like everyone has said, if the drums esp. the kick were beefed/mixed better it woulda gained more points from it. As far has the trackmasters clap, Im cool with that maybe you can bring that back from the grave.

To go over what's already been said on Ran's beat, basically the drums and mix hold it back. Tighter work on both elements would of really made it a tough choice, I like the sample it's dope but I feel Tek's beat had me more in the zone.
