your synth melody that used in the beginning and on the hook is cool but its utterly obvious you cant play the keyboard. your melody is SUPPOSED to hop. i can see what you're trying to do. but its not there yet. and ay aint nothing wrong with the fact you cant play the keyboard. but no one else can no this. learn the tricks to cover this up.
i'm feeling the trumpet melody. but not on this song. the melody could stay, but not the trumpet sound. its very annoying for this song.

lol. The point was for it to be kinda off. It does not sit in time at all points. That was on purpose. If you think it didnt work, I could def accept that.

i like the trumpet melody. i like the trumpet sound. but not at all in this song. its literally...annoying. and not in a good way. old wu tang music was annoying..in a good way. take it way back. old public enemy music was very annoying, but in a good way. even a great trumpet HIT song. Rumpshaker. that trumpet was annoying but it was annoying in the right way.
yeah. the muted trumpet has a way of evoking certain emotions when placed in the right context. It wasnt right for this song. I guess I just wanted to use it. That was the error on my part.
For my next effort, it will be more complete. If you had context of my other work , you could probably give a pass for this. However, you dont (bc none of my stuff is on the interwebs)
Ill have to make something astounding to put a better taste in the mouths of everyone. I will operate in Kanye mode (like the world is against me) If it works for him, it should work for me.
And so you know... you have a point about the trumpet sound. It is all in its use. I think that because it was misused, it hurt my chances in this battle. But experiences can make a person grow. And thats what Im all about.
Never put my stuff out there. So I definitely value opinion. Thanks for your input!:shake:
