That's the beauty of music...1 mistake can lead to something valuable and innovative. If I recall correctly, that's how sampling was discovered (in Hip Hop); 1 of the greats sampled a kick by mistake.

I remember who it was. It was Marley Marl. He sampled a snare by mistake, not a kick. He was talking about it on the Beat Kings DVD.
