Man,why do y'all say shyt like this?

you think this is bad, this is what threadstarter used to post:

LOL...Ross Got Mayweather Shook - ProjectCOVO.com Global Forum

ross is 6-7 inches taller than Mayweather and 2x his size, yet it doesnt matter cause 'Mayweather is trained...if size doesnt matter, why do they have weight divisions?...Mayweather has a 26' inch arm lemgth which means he would have to be a foot away from ross and exert force on the tips of his toes to get a clean jab at the face at Ross...and thats assuming Ross doesnt duck like a normal person would...if Mayweather not landing shots in the face, he has no advantage of 'skills'...because body shots on a dude as big as Ross wont get you know where...the reason why body shots are so effective in boxing is because they are landing punches on muscles and bones...with a guy like Ross, you are not hitting bone or muscle...youre hitting fat...

:laff: at Rick Ross being a legend...

You need A CLASSIC album or albums, need to exhibit the ability to hold down your own album (i.e. the guest verses compliment you, not continually outshine you) and a long period of longevity. Rick Ross has NONE of those qualities currently. If we're still talking about Rick Ross in a relevant discussion 5 years from now then I'd surprised...

If jayz and biggie is legends i have no problem with ross. Not only does every "legend" cosign him he has consistently dropped dope albums and mixtapes you can deny his skill but not his effect on hiphop.

Oh yeah and Ross is definitely a legend right now. No doubt about it. 3 good albums back to back is hard to dispute against. He's having a great run.

However, the problem for him is the climate of hip hop will definitely shift again. We've been here long enough to see everything works in cycles. It's "hot" artists that don't survive the shift, legendary status are never impacted, but for Ross, there's an asterisk. I don't think history will remember him fondly, and once the shift occurs, whether it's 5 years, 10 years or whatever, his past may exceed his music.

look fam...i didnt create this thread requesting a "bullshyt criteria for a hip-hop legend" handbook...

dude has been putting out hot music for 7 straight years, you cant name a wack release from dude....he's put out 8 straight dope projects :lolbron:

not to mention the caliber of music...this nikka in bringing in live orchestra's to make classics, then he gives you good trap shyt...

my grandkids are gonna be talking about the Maybach music series, there isnt any music in hip-hop on that level, directing cinematic ass shyt like that

Ross wont ever be irrelevant at this point, the music is too good...and Deeper Than Rap is a classic
