But name rappers with 5 straight dope albums...not Jay, not Nas, not Kanye, Wayne, Em, etc...that has to count for something

no he didnt

Ross makes good music, but theres just something about him....:yeshrug:

He doesnt have that classic feel
:what:

Cause he from the south? not a artist from the 80's/90's ? :rudy:

Consistent good music, no weak albums, got the streets, respect from peers, legends, can get on tracks with these rap veterans and hold his own. I mean he done everything but go plat which he should be DTR, Teflon Don and GFID all deserve/deserved to go plat imo...

lmao

fukk outta here

ross has two decent albums and it has more to do w/ features and production than ross himself

people will remember him as the guy who spat a verse on MBDTF or the guy that let nas and 3 stacks sh!t on his whole album with two verses

I think the whole CO thing made alot of people (including me) not want to even think it but I gotta admit, he will be remembered. Consistent and has dropped better albums than his debut each and every time

lol @ this whole abortion of a thread...

5 dopes albums in a row, according to who? you? That's not the consensus of the hip hop community..that's not something universally accepted, thats just your acceptance of mediocrity...Deeper than Rap was dope, but let's not get carried away..

how can you be a legend with no substance....dude says nothing thought provoking

how can you be a legend when your production carries you

Dude spits about the same thing over and over and over, his music is just recycled

idk if Ross is a legend yet,

but his worth ethic is undeniable in these current times.

consistency

Port Of Miami - 4/5 (Hustlin is a classic, and that album had great production)
Trilla - 4/5 (had that miami sound, introduced Justice League & MM)
Deeper Than Rap - 4.5/5 (classic album, not perfect but had the classy sound)
Teflon Don - 4/5 (His most 'mainstream' album, still a great body of work)
GFID - 4.5/5 (most soulful album yet, high production value, great)

you cant name too many rappers that have dropped 5 straight dope albums. Not to mention the mixtapes he's released.

Albert Anastasia
Ashes To Ashes
Rich Forever

then you factor in the MMG releases....dude is a legend at this point, now he'll just be climbing the ranks the rest of his career
