Roseanne Cancelled: ABC Scraps Season 11 Following Roseanne Barr's Racist Twitter Tirade

The show was ranked (for the season) number 2 behind This Is Us, forget the drop which should be expected as this was a reboot/new series release, but when you are the number 2 series on TV, there is significant value, this was the Rights show, I didn't watch it and couldn't care less what happens but shows with this level of success get picked up usually, the tweet may be too toxic but if a network (Fox) is willing to overlook it they will pick this show up.

30% is a noticeable drop. You have to remember tv shows generally lose ratings the longer they stay on because your viewer becomes less and less interested as the series progress. This on top of people threatening network boycotts which could mess up other tv show viewing, why would any network take the risk. The tweet is probably a career ender for her. She is going to want top 5 tv actress money for any role. I just don’t see any network paying her that much money especially after this tweet.
