Yeah the song actually leaked online around the time as "1980 something" (or something similar, can't remember the exact name) (Had the verses but not the back and forth of the final version), coz that's when the beat was made and what it was originally called in all the track files. Obviously it was updated and engineered after the fact but it was a beat Dre had for 20 something years,

Around this time, Eminem was untouchable to me. Best rapper out. The ability to fit that many syllables into a verse while still telling a story and making the flow sound that effortless? Not many people were able to do that back then. That verse - and that entire era from Eminem, with Marshall Mathers LP and Chronic 2001 - was pretty incredible to watch.
