Yeah that would have been a much better post. I love D.C. and I think it is Cube's best work but it is hard to find an album that can match O.G. track for track. Both are certified classics from legends from the West Coast. Just would have made a better thread IMO.

I agree OG is an amazing album, my fav Ice T joint. Iceberg gets overlooked when talking about west coast rappers and rappers in general.

I would still Probably go with DC as te better album but not by much, I probably just prefer Cube over Ice because I grew up with Cube more.

LMAO at Power and Iceberg. People think just because it is a debut or 2nd album it is suppose to the best. Power is overrated and Iceberg is okay but not enough great tracks, too many fillers. O.G. is hard up and down the tracks. Prove me wrong.

Those are the second & 3rd albums, sport. Point me to a track as haunting as "peel they caps back' on OG. I'm not a peripheral Ice T guy. I was a big fan.

Usually I would cite the fact that DC is Cubes sophomore album and he ducked the sophomore curse but given that OG is Ice's 4th or 5th that doesn't hold as much weight.

I think Cube came harder on a more varied amount of subjects. made it dope to talk about safe sex, police brutality, the American health system, the spread of gangs and much more. injecting humour and insight, combined with his commanding flow and voice. Speaking to suburban kids as well as the hood, he practically predicted the riots by saying all this shyt is happening and if America doesn't change and help then all hell will break loose.

He was involved with the production which was innovative and has stood the test of time.
