i still think 8mile is his peak as an artist

arguably 4 of his top 5 songs are off that shyt

But maybe one day we can make some progress
Food for thought - see how long it takes to digest
Feeling good when I should be ashamed
Sh*t, I really should've fell but I stood
See I came like a flame in the night
Like a ghost in the dark; there's a ray, there's a light
There's a hope, there's a spark
But when planets collide they'll never see eye to eye
Until they decide to set their differences aside
And this is why only one of us will survive

I think the way his delivery is on this, how he pauses/emphasizes stuff (and isn't yelling), makes the rhymes stand out more. If you actually break the lyrics down in Recovery he had just as many multis and internal rhymes (from what I've seen anyways), but imo it doesn't really stand out and isn't as noticeable on there.

Seriously, listen to Encore and tell me that it isnt better than this album. Album came out during the G-Unit tanktop, Crunk/Snap era but he was infinitely more creative and listenable on that album than he is now. It was a drugged out Em in the studio doing HIM. No screaming, cramming 50 words into a bar off-beat, no whitegirl hooks

Just Lose It > Berserk
Mosh > Survival
Rain Man, Big Weenie, My 1st Single are more testament to his talent than Rap God

encore has sum gems. and its a very intersting listen since its literally a look into an addicts mindframe dealing with fame. album is 4/5 imo. imo ems most UNIQUE albbum.. he invented trolling with this one. its funny how people take his joke songs serious. his flows on ENCORE were just :wow:. imo one of the most underaated and intersting albums of all time
