In order for this offense to still be as effective as it is, Rondo will to play the same role as Nelson - which puts Dallas in the deficit through this trade because they lost a PG who knew his role and didn't dominate the ball and two key bench contributors. The reason why nobody averages over 5 apg on this team, is because the ball is constantly moving and both their PGs split minutes and only have small usage rates. Monta pretty much runs the team, and he's got them sitting #1 in the league, it ain't gonna be a good look it you limit his touches to make way for a player that isn't a threat to score.

Good points breh. Rondo should be fine though, the offense Dallas runs isn't entirely that complicated. Anxious to see how him and Ellis mesh tonight.
I'll be interested to see how Carlisle plays Rondo and for how long, because I know he loves Harris and I don't think he'll limit his minutes to under 20 per game.
