You don't need to sign a big free agent if you can hit a homerun in the draft, you could legitimately have a winning team by 2018 and STILL get a lottery pick out of the Nets.

I'll believe it when I see it

Ok, so picks mean nothing and now caproom is pointless, just contract the team then breh.

I know the pessimism of losing Rondo for what you did is hitting you, but you sounding like my dude Tre right there :russ:
These guys don't know basketball.

Boston did very well with this trade. This team wasn't going anywhere with Rondo and there was a good chance that he would leave on top of that.

He has to share the ball with Ellis who has done a lot to prove his worth in Dallas, Rondo isn't going to average as many APG as people think.
He'll probably dip a little and finish second in APG.

He doesn't shoot enough to see a significant drop off imo. He handles the ball too much and controls the floor too much as well

This is completely different, Ainge has the Celtics in a great place now, potentially 2 lottery picks and 2 other first rounders next year is just the start.

@who_better_than_me told you :mjpls:
Yeah I hope ainge really believe it's a great place because there going to be stuck in that "place" for the better part or the next decade
