Illnoize
I got respect for his confidence, but I disagree. D-Will is the nicest PG IMO, he just hasnt had a decent team until now to prove it

explain what makes D rose BETTER than chris paul?

Paul is a better passer, shooter, turns the ball over less than any pg in the nba, better defender, better ft shooter, better 3 point shooter, more clutch, has led the league in assists multiple times while rose hasn't done it Once

Explain how rose is better than the best pg in the nba who been doin it before rose came in the league

Miss me wit that corny ass he won mvp bs and bring some substance

You could say all this same shyt about Bron, Dwill, Wade, Rondo, Westbrook, etc., too, you realize that? :usure:

You in here expecting answers to questions you haven't even asked. Fukk outta here.

1.Paul
2.D will
3.Rondo
4.Nash
5.Westbrook

All better Point guards than rose

westbrook and rose are similar players but westbrook does everything rose does just as good if not better

Westbrook is a better defender, scorer, rebounder and they are both have average pg skills
:birdman:
Rose (Defense '10/11 - best of the last two seasons/due to this season being a sample size e.g. Off-screen - 0.36 PPP):

Overall - 0.77 PPP allowed
Isolation - 0.61 PPP allowed
P&R Ball Handler - 0.73 PPP allowed
Off-screen - 0.80 PPP allowed
Spot up - 0.92 PPP allowed

Westbrook (Defense '11/12 - best of the last two seasons):

Overall - 0.88 PPP allowed
Isolation - 0.83 PPP allowed
P&R Ball Handler - 0.85 PPP allowed
Off-screen - 0.98 PPP allowed
Spot up - 0.99 PPP allowed

"Rose has allowed just 0.77 points per possession overall on defense this season, an elite mark for any defender, regardless of position. Chris Paul (0.86 points per possession allowed), Rajon Rondo (0.83 PPP allowed), and Russell Westbrook (0.92 PPP allowed) –- all excellent defenders -– have been trumped statistically this year, and by no slim margin. Rose has each of those players handily beat, and boasts a shockingly comprehensive defensive profile. Rose is particularly effective in defending isolation sequences, where he allows just 0.61 points per possession."

Rose had more blocks than Lebron last season + 1st overall blocks for a PG (21 more than 2nd place) + 2nd overall perimeter blocks for a guard (3rd overall blocks).

Said statistics are certainly not the be-all and end-all to thee argument, as it doesn't weigh in eye-tests; team-defense/help-defense influence; opponent-matchups; weight of offensive-load; defensive-intangibles - but it gives you a general perspective of where they both sit, in terms of defensive ability/efficiency.

Rose -

08-09 season: 3-9 ft (45%); 10-15 ft (41%); 16-3point (44%)

09-10 season: 3-9 ft (53%); 10-15 ft (47%); 16-3point (44%)

10-11 season: 3-9 ft (36%); 10-15 ft (42%); 16-3point (40%)

Westbrook -

08-09 season: 3-9 ft (32%); 10-15 ft (36%); 16-3point (37%)

09-10 season: 3-9 ft (36%); 10-15 ft (35%); 16-3point (38%)

10-11 season: 3-9 ft (31%); 10-15 ft (35%); 16-3point (37%)

And Rose's numbers are even more impressive, in comparison to Westbrook's, considering he has been the sole/dominant focus of defenses for the majority of his career.

:beli: Did he try to blame Rose for Boozer playing like a bum?

Boozer scored 14 on 42% from the field against Philly in the first round, is that Rose's fault?

Boozer the year before coming to Chicago

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sps2xG29GKU

We gonna blame Rose for Boozer losing his lift and quickness too?

8-5 w/o rondo. you sure u don't wanna take back this stupid statement?:beli:
So having a 8-5 record without rondo makes them a playoff team, they would have never made it past the hawks without him :stopitslime:

You can't be considered the best pg when you can't hit a 10 foot jumper or 61% ft shooter

I have Paul, Rose & Williams over him. He's tied with Tony Parker, imo.

Word? Where does he fit in among Rose, CP3, Dwill, Rondo, Westbrook, Irving, Parker?

:usure:

Parker will be 32 in 2 years and they already had similar seasons this year.

Parker 60 games 48%/23%/80% - 18/8/3 (2.6 Turnovers)
Lawson 61 Games 49%/37%/82% - 16/7/4 (2.4 Turnovers)

He's a 50%/40%/80% guy already, sharing the ball with Andre Miller, only 24 years old who averaged a 16/7/4 last season. He's averaged 2 more assists per game in each consecutive season and has doubled his scoring output since his rookie season.

In two years he should be averaging 18-20/8-10/5 with those same Shooting percentages based on his track.

He's going to be a top 5 PG in 2 years.
