So when we finally get reparations we're gonna see a bunch of cacs holding up pictures of their Black Grand/Great grandfathers standing in line like.:gladbron:
Like what's happened with so many Native American tribes?
You got people looking just like Sitting Bull with nothing because their ancestors refused any dealings with the federal government so never got enumerated and categorized by agencies.

But some of the whitest looking people have documentation, have had status in their fams for generations and some are the descendants of essentially Europeanized mixed sellouts who screwed over their fellow tribesmen fighting the spread of white settlement across their territories. (ahem)

And straight up white Americans locating any great-great-whatever on the Rolls to prove they are 1/32nd Native ancestry though their ancestors clearly chose to be white, they've never stepped foot in any Indian Territory and never identified as Native until trying to scrounge around for college scholarship money.

The only reason they claim the first blk doctor dude is because, he's a famous historical figure, and they wanna associate themselves with his legacy.
And he ain't even close to being the first black doctor in Canada
much less all of North America.

So they don't even have accurate info on their beloved black ancestor.
