Pretty simple. Holly is a very tall and physical girl with good striking. It will take a relatively tall, solid striker with great physical strength to match Holly. The Ronda fight highlighted how Holly looked a weight class bigger in the ring than Ronda. Cyborg would from a physical standpoint, match up better with Holly and has better hands/feet than Ronda. So while the edge goes to Holly still, it hopefully wouldn't look as bad as Ronda when she was swinging for air on several terrible misses.

As far a PED use goes, the UFC has forgiven other users (especially men) and if it is not a repeated offense, the fighter pays the price and the fight game moves on.

Excellent points and analysis. Rhonda has never faced a boxer/striker anywhere near the level of Holly. She got whipped thoroughly throughout the duration of the match and looked like an amateur. She couldn't muscle Holly because as you alluded to, Holly is a big girl and towered over Rhonda, in height, weight, and fight shape.

Holly is a strong chick with good technique. She did what she had to do to pull herself out of those judo situations Ronda tried to put her in, and the height/reach just made it even easier for a professional striker vs. an amateur one.

Holly isn't a small chick by any means, but her strength + intelligence played a huge part in this win.

Which is why I don't think Ronda could ever win. Holly had a plan for ever trick Ronda tried to do. She was well prepared for the judo game and was light years prepared in the hands department. That kick was a cherry on top

Gina was much more respected, lost to someone everyone knew she shouldnt have fought and had much more of a reason to leave fighting, is leaps and bounds more attractive than Rousey and will have had more roles and starred in a Soderberg movie. Rousey aint seeing none of that.

it was the first time ronda ever faced a true Bantamweight, the other girls are small and skinny coming from lower weight classes... ronda eats like a pig so she probably out weighed her opp by 20 pounds on fight night and she was always the taller girl.
