I wouldn't, no. But I'm also fortunate enough that the money wouldn't be much of a temptation. I can imagine for a lot of teachers in Florida, thats not the case.

I could see some doing it for the money and then completely disregarding it (as most state or federally mandated training is completely disregarded by teachers), but I'm also fortunate to work in a state where the union is strong enough that very few curricular mandates can actually be enforced. Again, not the case in Florida.

With the pay down here, I can see most teachers opting in. $6k is like 10-20% of their salary.

All money ain't good money. No way I'd opt into that shyt. Besides, my ancestors would spit on me. But too many teachers would. Hell, half of them teach that trash for free.
