Very few people want to live off government. I refuse to believe that Obama voters want goodies. Nobody is ever proud to be on welfare. Our objective should be promoting the favoring of markets and opportunity for all. Not just be percieved as favoring bug business.
The challenge for elections is that most of the electorate don't know what the party's philosophies are anyway so its about perception of leadership and competence. Obama simply was able to convey more competence while painting Romney as out of touch elitist.

Forget the media spin that Romney was catching up or tied. It was never true, Obama had the Lead THE ENTIRE Race in the electoral college. Romney lost Blacks, Latinos, Asians, Gays, Youth, Women. Obama collation was one of the best and most diverse in the history of America. Obama won by large margins. It wasn't "Gifts", that's just Romney again talking to his rich friends. It was that you are FAKE and America as a whole saw who you really were. Another rich guy who wants the Presidency as notch on your belt.
So sorry Romney, it wasn't a Gift like the ones you tried to give your buddies with taxes. Obama won cause he reached out to EVERYONE not just people that looked like him. He was also a terrible candidate. He had gaffe after gaffe. Yes he won the 1st debate but he lost the last 2 and Ryan lost to Biden. It's clear Romney is still stuck in his bubble which isn't reality. After saying 1/2 the country ain't sh!t. He then now goes and sh!ts on minorities, women and youth. This is why he's isn't President. He didn't want to be President of America. But President of hookin his buddies up with tax breaks.
