This isn't true and Shakur confirmed this himself on Brian Custer's podcast.
That's cool that they settled their differences. But it don't change the fact that Shakur called floyd a bytch.

stevenson-1

Why does Floyd always have some sort of falling out with every young fighter he's cool with?.....how come and him and tank weren't on speaking terms for a while?.....a promoter should never not be on speaking terms with their fighter. It was the same shyt when he was trying to sign Mikey. Robert said Floyd was just talking. Then when they moved on Floyd started bashing em.

When Wilder started doing big numbers Floyd started throwing shots. When ward started getting that all time great tag, Floyd started throwing shots. Talking about he needs a new trainer. That Virgil Hunter is trash. And ward got a gift vs kovalev. And ward said if he really got something to say he can hit him on the phone. Stop fronting for the cameras...."we both had the same manager, he knows how to get a hold of me":sas2:.....Next time we seen Floyd he was coppin pleas.

A promoter should not be speaking more than his fighter at his press conference, period. He shouldn't even be fielding so many questions. But nah he's up there ranting about a bunch of random shyt. He even brought up Lara vs canelo:what:.....then while he's trying to praise tank he drops a little slick comment about he would have knocked Cruz out in his prime. For no reason at all. Just to say it. Dudes ego is so big he can't help but throw digs at his own fighter. Let tank have his moment. He's always making dude uncomfortable.

Floyd defended his fighter in front of the media and gets him PAID maybe more than anyone else other than Canelo. Always some distain in here :mjpls: Tank a grown man. If there was a issue he would leave or say something to the media. Not a peep… I know a lot of you don’t want to be reminded of that Cake walk where Canelo was doing nothing but hitting ropes. :mjlol:

:damn:He was too young. (Mayweather 37). He way better now:mjcry:

Flex, I can't fully agree with this. While I do believe Tank always had star potential, it took someone like Floyd to maximize it. Asking what other stars Floyd built up is a bit disingenuous, he hadn't had a fighter beforehand with the potential of a Tank.

Lemme ask you this: Floyd got Tank through Broner. Do you think he would be as big as he is now if he stayed under AB :jbhmm:
I mean I just look at Errol Spence. He became a star on his own just by being an exciting fighter. Tank would have been no different imo. They both do similar numbers right now. People loved tank from the jump cause he was ferocious in the ring.

But honestly, debating on whether tank would be bigger or not without Floyd isn't really something we can really know in hindsight. It's all just opinion. But the first time I saw tank I knew he was gonna be massive. And it's true that Floyd hasn't had a talent like tank. But it's also cause he can't land these guys:yeshrug:.....It might be cool to the Floyd fans to see Floyd up there ranting during tanks press conferences. But these young fighters wanna build their own legacy. No fighter wants their promoter outshining them on their stage. Floyd gotta learn how to fall back sometimes.

I didn't see anything special from cruz in that bout :yeshrug:, he gave tank a tough fight took advantage of the situation which is cool. what we not gonna do is overrate fighters cause someone struggled with them. Nakatani beats cruz

Yall can have that Magical imaginary fight nonsense. You dont know what would happen until they fight.

Nakatani gave Teo problems, Teo beat Loma, Loma made Nakatani look like a Hibachi chef

:mjlol: issac cruz had a competitive fight with a guy who had one hand to end the fight, his best win is Francisco vargas. Issac cruz some great fighter at 135 now, stans are funny.

Tank never fought Nakatani so what is your point? You bring up a random, I tell you its idiotic and then you pivot again not realizing If I use your logic I could say something like that means Tank beats Loma and Teo with one hand. See how that works?

:mjlol: nah I'm calling out on your bullshyt in trying to turn issac cruz into something he's not, tank should have and will smoke this bum if they run it back. We not about to start overrating fighters cause our favorites had shytty outings.

Look, bless Nakatani for KO'ing that murderous scumbag Verdejo, but he did not have a close fight with Teo at all.
Never been huge on nakatani( you can check my post), but he's absolutely a much higher proven caliber opponent than issac cruz at 135. He's a legit top 8 lightweight.

You a full fledge hater my guy lol
if tank was with bob arum he woudn't be as big right now
having great talent and being famous are two different things
floyd has contributed to his fame, and thats what a promotor is supposed to do lol

floyd hasn't overshadowed him at all. He just telling the world about hsi talent and giving him a platform to be seen on a bigger stafe (eg the mcgregor undercard)

there are many factors involved in "filling up arenas"
U can’t compare Floyd to bob as far as promoting goes.
